Hi, I’m Marie, the founder of CAVUUM.
When my children grew up and left home, I finally decided to declutter their bedrooms. But among everything they left behind were sentimental clothes, much-loved soft toys and memories I simply wasn’t ready to part with.
I had used vacuum storage bags before, hoping they would provide the answer, but I was repeatedly disappointed. That frustration inspired me to start my own company and create the complete storage system I had been searching for.
I have always supported local and small businesses whenever I can. Now, as the founder of a British small-business brand, I understand more than ever how much care and personal commitment goes into creating something of your own.
My purpose is simple: to help busy households reclaim their space while keeping hold of the memories that matter.

How do vacuum storage bags work?
No complicated equipment and no household vacuum cleaner. Just follow these four simple steps.
Pack
Place clean, dry bedding or clothing inside the right-sized bag. Do not overfill it.
Seal
Slide the sealing clip firmly across the double zip, then check the full length is completely closed.
Remove the air
Remove the valve cap, place the charged CAVUUM pump over the opening and switch it on. Watch the bulky contents compress.
Close and store
Switch off the pump, remove it and replace the valve cap securely. Your flatter bag is ready to store.
That’s it. Pack, seal, compress and store.

Only pack completely clean and dry belongings. Do not overfill the bag, keep fabric away from the zip, close the full length several times and tighten the valve cap after compression. Store away from sharp edges and excessive heat.

Can vacuum storage bags cause mould?+
Vacuum bags do not create mould, but sealing damp items can trap moisture. Only pack belongings that are completely clean and dry, and check their care instructions before prolonged storage.
Why has my vacuum bag reinflated?+
The most common causes are an incompletely closed zip, fabric trapped in the seal, a loose valve cap, overfilling or accidental damage. Reopen the bag, inspect it and reseal it carefully.
